"Threads of Life" is like flipping through a family album filled with snapshots of my family history. It's a cozy collection of images pulled straight from my own family archive, each one telling a story or sparking a memory. The images showcased below portray a collection of professionally photographed snapshots, taken myself, capturing the final installation. Each image was printed onto polyester by using the process of dye sublimation. Each piece to the installation also included an embroidered signature. Over the years further images of coupes within my family can be added to create a physical more reflective form of a photo album. This piece was created as part of my self directed study.
