I chose to base my monogram of my grandad, Michael Wheeldon. My grandad was born in 1930 in Birmingham and lived there throughout the war. His profession was a businessman in the shoe industry as he had a collection of shoe shops around Oxford and Basingstoke. I remember my grandad would always have a knack for winning a round of cards, therefore I chose to use his deck of cards for one of the monograms as this reminds me of him the most.
